Zardari may ink Pak-Russia anti-drug accord

Newssite “The Nation” writes this:

ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari is likely to sign much delayed anti-drug trafficking agreement during his upcoming visit to Russia despite Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s strong opposition.

Informed official insiders confided to TheNation that the much awaited agreement, which was scheduled to be signed between Pakistan and Russia last year, was expected to be given final nod by President Zardari during his tour to Russia starting from August 18. Zardari would be leaving for Russia to attend a quadrilateral regional conference that would be participated by Pakistan, Afghanistan, Russia and Tajikistan.
It is also learnt that Afghan authorities would ‘try their best’ on the occasion of quadrilateral conference to stop Pakistan from signing the agreement. The desperate Afghan camp is reportedly exerting all-out pressure on Pakistani side to refrain the latter from validating the same accord. There are also reports that succumbing to the pressure exerted by Afghan President, President Zardari might develop a ‘soft corner’ towards Karzai’s demand and the fate of the bilateral agreement may linger on further.
As reported in TheNation on a prior occasion, the agreement, if signed, would be a major breakthrough towards anti-drug trafficking measures in the region. In addition, the signing of the agreement aims at breaking the regional nexus of the drug smugglers that is patronised by Afghan President Hamid Karzai’s brother Ahmed Ali Wazir. The latter reportedly runs drugs trading empire and underworld racket in Southern Afghanistan. Wazir is also believed to fund major part of Hamid Karzai’s businesses and corporate enterprise. In case the efforts of Pakistan and Russia succeed to curtail drug trafficking in the region, the move would serve as an ‘irreparable loss’ to Hamid Karzai, his brother, and their cronies in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A sitting Member Provincial Assembly (MPA), KP, has been recently booked over drugs smuggling charges.

The Pakistani officials, in order to oblige their Afghan counterparts, kept delaying the finalisation of the terms of the agreement on one pretext or the other citing legal lacunae like the requirement of ratification of the particular accord by Pakistani Parliament.
TheNation contacted Tariq Khosa, Secretary, Ministry of Narcotics Control, on Tuesday evening but he refused to speak and dropped the call. Colonel Nadeem, Spokesperson, Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), a division of Ministry of Narcotics Control, is not in knowledge of the issue.
It asks for a recall that this newspaper first brought the issue to light when it reported on the last June 14 that the prolonged delay in the signing of an anti-drug trafficking agreement was frustrating Pakistan and Russia’s effort to materialise anti-narcotics measures. It was also reported that illegal drug trade over $ 8 billion annually took place between Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Russia and other neighbouring states that exceeded annual fiscal budgets of several less developed states.

Its value lies in the unquestioned influence which it has exerted on the writers of the New Testament. Some of the dark passages of the latter being all but inexplicable without its aid.

Although the very knowledge that such a book ever existed was lost for probably 1200 years, it nevertheless was much used by both Christian and heretic in the early centuries and forms a most valuable document in any study of the forms of early Christianity.

The writing appeals to the reader who thrills to lend wings to his thoughts and fly to mystical realms. Here is a strange dramatization of eternity–with views on Creation, Anthropology, and Ethics. As the world was made in six days, so its history would be accomplished in 6,000 years (or 6,000,000 years), and this would be followed by 1,000 years of rest (possibly when the balance of conflicting moral forces has been struck and human life has reached the ideal state). At its close would begin the 8th Eternal Day, when time should be no more.

Prophecy: is Obama the Antichrist?

Antichrist may well be a commie, a socialist or a democrat!  The pshycic Jeane Dixon had a strange vision of this from her flat in Washington one morning.  She says Antichrist got a “B” in his name and Obama fits nicely into her vision.  Some of her “sights” have come true, others not…

Jeane Dixon, a good Catholic and a prophetess of God, accurately predicted in 1956 the 1960 inauguration and 1963 murder of John F. Kennedy as well as the name of his alleged killer Oswald. She also warned Dag Hammerskjöld not to fly in the plane in which he crashed and died. On May 14 1953, in an NBC telecast she said, “A silver ball will emerge from Russia, to travel in space!” Many critics jeered, until four years later when Russia launched the Sputnik 1 space capsule!

Like several other prophets, Dixon, also has foreseen the advent of the Antichrist and the False Prophet:

“Satan is now coming into the open to seduce the world and we should be prepared for the inevitable events that are to follow. I have seen that the United States is to play a major role in this development… I have seen a �government within a government� develop in the US within the last few years… I see this �government within a government� being controlled and financed by a well-oiled political �machine� of one of our leading political families. With their eye on the White House, I see them discredit any man who occupies it without their approval, no matter how good his political programs may be.

“They will — through political intimidation, propaganda, and illegal sixth-column activities — make every effort to show the nation that only their man, the one who heads their �machine�, has the sole right to occupy the White House. Their campaign is going to cause great harm to our nation both here and abroad.

“I �see� this group succeed in taking over de facto control of the country. They will give rise to an upheaval in our social structure as never before seen. They will bring about increased social unrest and great discontent. Foreign subversive elements will — as they did in the 1960s — infiltrate the unruly factions and cause renewed fighting on the nation�s campuses and in racial ghettos.

“All of the evil in the masses will be swept toward an unknown frenzy by this �machine�.

“I �see� a member of this �machine� ascend to power in New York City, enforcing new laws and regulations that will affect many households of that great metropolis. [Obviously, the Rockefellers are indicated here]

“The social and religious chaos generated by this political machine throughout the United States will prepare the nation for the coming of the prophet of the Antichrist. This political unit of the East will be the tool of the serpent in delivering the masses to him.

“The False Prophet�s domain shall be the intellectual seduction of mankind. It means a mixture of political, philosophical, and religious ideology that will throw the populations of the world into a deep crisis of faith in God… One of his first duties and responsibilities in readying the world for the advent of his �master� is to manipulate the available propaganda machines. With teaching and propaganda the prophet will cause people not merely to accept the Antichrist but rather to desire him with positive enthusiasm to create the conditions of his coming and to participate in organizing the frightful and terrifying despotism of his World Empire.

“[The seemingly miraculous phenomena he will produce] will not be supernatural or preternatural events but rather prodigies of science and human achievements, but interpreted in such a way as to lead men away from God and toward the worship of the Antichrist… The prophet of the Antichrist and the Antichrist himself will be specific and identifiable persons!”

At she gazed outside she saw, nt the bare-limbed trees and city street below, but a bright blue sky above a barren desert. Just above the horizon was the brightest sun that she had ever seen, glowing like a golden ball. Splashing from the orb in every direction were brilliant rays which seemed to be drawing the earth toward it like a magnet. Stepping out of the brightness of the sun’s rays, hand in hand, were a Pharaoh and Queen Nefertiti. Cradled n the Queen’s other arm was a baby, his ragged, soled clothing in startling contrast to the gorgeously arrayed royal couple. “The eyes of this child were all-knowing,” Jeane say softly. “They were full of wisdom and knowledge.”

A little to one side of Queen Nefertiti, Jeane could glimpse a pyramid. While she watched entranced, the couple advanced toward her and thrust forth the baby, as if offering it to the entire world. Within the ball of the sun, Jeane saw Joseph guiding the tableau like a puppeteer pulling strings. Now rays of light burst forth from the baby, blending with those of the sun and obliterating the Pharaoh from her sight. Off to the left, she observed that Queen Nefertiti was walking away, “thousands of miles into the past.” The Queen paused beside a large brown water jug, and as she stooped and cupped her hands to drink she was stabbed in the back by a dagger. Jeane says that she “distinctly heard her death scream as she vanished.”

Jeane shifted her gaze back to the baby. He had by now grown to manhood, and a small cross which formed above him began to expand until it “dripped over the earth in all directions. Simultaneously, peoples of every race, religion, and color (black, yellow, red, brown and white), each kneeling and lifting his arms in worshipful adoration, surrounded him. They were all as one,” Unlike previous visions, which had gradually faded away from Jeane, this one moved ever nearer until she seemed to be in the very midst of the action, joining int he adoring worship. “I felt a tiny seed ready to sprout and grow,” she says, “But I was only one of millions of similar seeds. I knew within my heart. “here is the beginning of wisdom”  The room was becoming dark again, and though she was still caught up in the spell of the vision, Jeane glanced automatically at her bedside clock. The time was 7:17 a.m.

What does it mean? What is the significance of this strange visitation ona dull February morning in Washington, a third of the way around the world from Egypt/ Jeane feels that she ha been shown that answer. A bit haltingly, she explains it this way: “A child, born somewhere in the Middle east shortly after 7 a.m. (EST) on February 5, 1962, will revolutionize the world. BEfore the close of the century he will bring together all mankind in one all-embracing faith. This will be the foundation of a new Christianity, with every sect and creed united through this man who will walk among the people to spread the wisdom of the Almighty Power.

“This person, though born of humble peasant origin, is a descendant of Queen Nefertiti and her Pharaoh husband; of this I am sure. There was nothing kingly about his coming…no kings or shepherds to do homage to this newborn baby…but he is the answer to the prayers of a troubled world. Mankind will begin to feel the great force of this man in the early 1980’s and during the subsequent ten years the world as we know it will be reshaped and revamped into one without wars or suffering. His power will grow greatly until 1999, at which time the people of this earth will probably discover the full meaning of the vision.”

Attempting to describe her own sensation, Jeane says: “I felt suspended and enfolded, as if I were surrounded by whipped cream. For the first time I understood the full meaning of the biblical phrase, “My cup runneth over.”  I loved all mankind. I felt that I would never again need food or sleep, because  I had experienced perfect peace.”

What this has to do with Obama is, he is born in 1961 and he is celebrating his 50 year jubilee in 2011.  That is the age of Antichrist when he will reveal himself, according to Dixon, and the synchronicity with 2012 is peculiar.  This is also the last year of his first period as President as you would know.  Right now Obamas support is falling fast but if he is to lose his job before the period is over will take a miracle.  He celebrated his 49th birthday on august 4. 2010.  (4 and 8 are unlucky numbers in Asia.)  His moms passports are also missing so we will never know where she was when he was born since children are written into their parents´ passports.

The vice president’s wife, Lynne Cheney, announced her discovery yesterday while hawking her new book, “Blue Skies, No Fences,” on MSNBC.

When asked if she would support Hillary Rodham Clinton because she is a woman, Lynne Cheney said, “I have to admit to a certain bias here . . . Dick and Barack Obama are eighth cousins.”

Mrs. Cheney said that it was “an amazing American story that one ancestor . . . could be responsible down the family line for lives that have taken such different and varied paths.”

Then asked if she supported Obama she quickly said, “No.”

Obama’s camp made light of the family ties. “Every family has a black sheep,” said spokeswoman Jen Psaki, with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

The Chicago Sun-Times revealed the genealogical link in early September, claiming that the shared ancestors were Mareen and Susannah Duvall, 17th century immigrants from France.

The newspaper, however, claimed that the senator from Illinois and the vice president were 11th cousins.

The Duvalls are Obama’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents, and Cheney’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents, the paper said.

George W. Bush and Obama, meanwhile, are 10th cousins once removed – linked through a 17th century Massachusetts couple, Samuel Hinckley and Sarah Soole, according to the Sun-Times.

Curious prophecies: Mother Shipton

The site Crystalinks posted these rhymes.  They are said to be written early in the 1500´s, but may also be added to in the 1600´s.  Anyway they speak of cars, submarines, internet and politics like “taxes rise” and “The kings shall false promise make, And talk just for talkings sake, And nations plan horrific war”.

The signs will be there for all to read When man shall do most heinous deed Man will ruin kinder lives By taking them as to their wives.

I internasjonal sammenheng er Norge en kjent fredsnasjon: Vi utgir årlig Nobels fredspris og vi liker å ta initiativ til fredsforhandlinger rundt om i verden. Det norske folk og våre politikere liker så klart å smykke seg med denne posisjonen.  Men vi har som nasjon allikevel et noe schizofrent forhold til oss selv, ettersom det er en viss avstand mellom hva borgerne av Norge tror er sannheten om oss selv, og hva som er realiteten.

For vi roser oss av vårt rykte som fredsstiftere og fordømmer villig åpenbare mangler ved rettssikkerheten i ”mindre fremstående” land enn vårt eget. Men våre tradisjoner og våre ambisjoner om å fremstå som fredsnasjon, henger i en tynn tråd om vi ser under fasaden vi liker å ta til inntekt for vår sak.  For én ting er at vi er verdens største våpeneksportører i forhold til folketall, og at vi villig vekk — og så godt som betingelsesløst — har gitt vår støtte til amerikanernes krig mot terror siden den startet i 2001 (vi støtter ikke bare denne kampanjen moralsk, men også med rundt 600 menn i aktiv tjeneste i Afghanistan).
