“Where free minds meet” – Inspirert av konferanser som Las Vegas Freedom Fest og Paris Freedom Fest inviterer vi nå til Freedom Fest i Oslo, heldags konferanse lørdag 30. oktober 2010 på Håndverkeren i Oslo.

Endrer sosiale medier styrkeforholdet mellom Staten og individene?
Er alternativ politisk organisering med hjelp av sosiale medier en ny betydelig kraft i samfunnet?
Folkeopprøret mot datalagringsdirektivet, Tea Party bevegelsen i USA, Wikileaks, alternative media – er dette ting som fundamentalt endrer spillereglene i det politiske spillet?

Disse, og mange andre spørsmål skal Freedom Fest 2010 i Oslo ta tak i.

Freedom Fest har spesielt invitert noen av de som bruker, utforsker og tester grenser i dette feltet.

Freedom Fest bruker selv sosiale medier for å organisere konferansen.

Online video er en sentral og integrert del av Freedom Fest. Det vil være to eller tre videoteam på konferansen.
NUUGs videogruppe vil videofilme med profesjonelt utstyr og legge materiale ut med Creative Commons-lisens. Noe kan også bli vist på Frikanalen.
Video fra konferansen vil dessuten legges ut på flere YouTube-kanaler (bl.a. disse: 1 2).
Dersom du er interessert i online video er Freedom Fest en utmerket arena for å studere det.

Freedom Fest er en såkalt “unconference”, der deltagerne er i sentrum og deltagerne og deltagende organisasjoner skaper konferansen. Budsjettet er beskjedent og prisen for deltagelse er lav. Interaksjon mellom deltakerne er hovedformålet med konferansen. Konferansen ønsker og oppfordrer derfor til din og din organisasjons aktive deltagelse.

Freedom Fest ønsker å etablerte en årlig Høstkonferanse på Håndverkeren, en uformell arena utenfor de etablerte partiapparater og interessegrupper, noe mange savner.

Freedom Fest konseptet er en bred, inkluderende samling av frie frittenkende mennesker som samles en hel dag under samme tak for å la seg bli inspirert, samtale, lære og lære bort. Fellesnevneren er at man mener Staten er blitt for sterk og at man arbeider for øket individuell frihet og et sterkere sivilsamfunn.

Vi ønsker å gjøre dette til årets event for frittenkende mennesker. Her skal alle få muligheten til å komme frem med sitt budskap. Freedom Fest er et åpent intellektuelt marked, og vi som arrangerer deler ikke nødvendigvis synspunktene til talere og deltakere.

Foredrag gjennom hele dagen, bar og film på kvelden.

En rekke frie frittenkende individer, organisasjoner, Facebook-grupper, firmaer, presse og andre grupper blir invitert til å delta som foredragsholdere, til å holde stands og til å kunne kjøre egne og åpne møter under dagen.

Researchers link solar storms to market lows

Numerous studies have shown that solar storms affect our mood, which can in turn affect our behavior. One 1994 report in the British Journal of Psychiatry cited by Krivelyova and Robotti shows a 36.2 percent increase in hospital admissions for depression during the storms. A 1992 paper published in the RussianAviakosm Ekolog Med shows that during solar storms, pilots experience increased stress and a sharp decline in flying skills. A Russian study from 1998, based on data from Moscow’s ambulance corps, found that suicides and mental disorders, along with cardiovascular incidents—which are often stress related—spike during periods of increased geomagnetic activity.

I anledning lanseringen av boken “Den grønne supermaten” besøker ernærings-superstjernen David Sandoval Norge.  Supermat, mest kjent internasjonalt under betegnelsen “Wholefood”, er mat som har nærings-stoffene inntakte.  Dette mangler faktisk i moderne “go gammaldags husmannskost”, men Davids futuristiske produkter ligner mer på det vi spiste også tusner av år siden.  Altså en måte å gi kroppen næring på, som er mer naturlig enn Mac´ern og Fjodland.  Ved å se på hve cellene i kroppen vår gjør og kan, går det faktisk ann å komme frem til nyttige og fungerende fakta.  En god del  av dette er beskrevet i denne norske utgivelsen av boken som på engelsk har den litt mer pretansiøse titlen “The green food bible”.

Dag Ellingsen
Tema: Hvorfor gikk norske krigsprofitører fri etter andre verdenskrig? Ellingsen er sosiolog og en av de fremste forskerne på norske krigsprofitører. Han ga i 1993 ut boka “Krigsprofitørene og rettsoppgjøret” på Gyldendal forlag.

Terje Valen
Tema: Hvordan var det å legge frem den upopulære historien om norske krigsprofitører i 1974? Har forholdet til denne historien endret seg i dag? Historiker og lektor. Ga i 1974 ut boka “Dei tente på krigen” på Oktober forlag. Boka førte til den første offentlige debatten om krigsprofitørene i Norge.

Ingerid Hagen
Tema: Hvordan skal vi i dag forholde oss til at mye av historien om norske krigsprofitører fortsatt er mørklagt? Historiker, regissør og forfatter. Skrev i 1996 hovedoppgaven: “Norsk Hydros deltagelse i de tyske lettmetallplanene, 1940-1943: motiver og etterkrigsreaksjoner”, debuterte i 2006 som regissør med “Krigshelt i utakt” om Svein Blindheim, og gir i oktober ut boka “Landssvikoppgjørets skyggesider” hvor hun blant annet ser på det problematiske ved at krigsprofitørene gikk fri.

Kåre Stormark, historiker og underdirektør i UD.
Moderator og leder av debatten. Stormark har fulgt forskningen rundt de norske krigsprofitørene lenge, og har skrevet hovedoppgave om Thune fabrikker: “Thune-streiken august 1945”.

Det vil bli vist klipp fra filmen Svik som har premiere 9. oktober.

EXHIBITION: at Masonic HQ in London – Open for public!

Well worth to check out this Museum in London in Great Queen Street, if you are into esoteric stuff.  It´s loads of intriguing artifacts there.

The museum opened to the public 2 years ago at the same time it became a charity.

The exhibition is mainly about the Masons role in the French revolution, Very interesting indeed.

The library in the 1.floor (2.etg.) is also open for public view and they got a gift shop!

(You don´t need to take a tour to get in.)

10-12 July 2009: Project Camelot in Zurich: A New World – If You Can Take It. Dr Brian O’Leary will be in Zurich in July –

and will be speaking at a conference here organized by the Switzerland Ground Crew, an energetic group of some 20 people based in Zurich who are working closely with Bill Ryan. Brian will be joined by Bill and several other speakers whom the organizing team plans to invite. Brian will be speaking on The Energy Solution Revolution, and will recount anecdotes from his life from his early days in the NASA Astronaut Program and meetings with many of the world’s premier Free Energy activists. Bill will be speaking in depth on the recent Project Camelot major summary: 2009: a Tale of Two Timelines. 100 people have already expressed interest in attending, and there are 360 places. The event will be held at the Zurich Volkshaus and will begin on the Friday evening 10 July, ending at 5 pm on Sunday.
